Heerlijk geluncht in een warme sfeer met prettige bediening, de gerechten zijn klein, licht en verfijnd, precies wat je wil bij een zondagmiddag. Een gerecht aanpassen vanwege een ingrediënt wat niet wordt gewaardeerd door mijn tafeldame, is geen enkel probleem.Bob-glazen wijn bij elke gang is gewoon mogelijk, wel zo fijn bij de lunch. Laagdrempelig, relaxt en culinair gaan hier in harmonie samen. Ik kom wéér!

The restaurant offered a nice atmosphere, not too many guests on Wednesday , the seats were comfortable, at least the bench where we were sitting. You have to expect to sit at the table for 2-3 hrs, for me personally a bit too long. May be it was on a Wednesday and only one staff member at the service. The Wine list was short but acceptable and the wines were not expensive. The food was interesting and cooked very well, not all courses had the same high quality (some course were definitely better than others) but over all, it was a very nice eating experience with wonderful sauces/gravies.

We went to ACE for the restaurant week and as a Rising Star we had high hopes. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, very cozy with nice lightning in an old Amsterdam building. The service was not the best, but okay, making some mistakes and taking long time before we received our meals/drinks. The food was not what we were hoping for, considering the price. One dish was very sour and the others were nice, but not so special. It is a nice place to go but the price/quality ratio was not right. If it would have been cheaper than what it was, it would be a great option, but paying the amount we did was not in relation to the food.

We made a reservation for a 4 course rising star lunch. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy and they welcomed us friendly. We were sat at a table upstairs where they have 4 tables of 2. We were the first and later 2 tables was also sitted, the last one came 30 min. later that us. The food was good, but the level of the service was very different from 1 waitress to another. Some can explain the courses very well, others not so. And some times when they cleared our table, they did not bring all that was not nescessary anymore. So I had to tell them to please bring the emply bottles and glasses with them on their way down. At the end, it took them 3 hours to serve our 4 course lunch, so we left the restaurant feeling not satisfied. Too bad, because the food was good, but the experience, not so.
