We had dinner here and the place has an incredible ambiance outside when the weather is nice. We sat outside until around 10pm with the sun setting around then. The view is amazing.

The ideas for the food were good, but the execution was not great. The beef tartar was good, but was overpowered by a too bug piece of buratta. The ceviche was good, but the way of serving with whole pieces of mackerel was not inviting. The ribeye was chewy. The dish with the prawns was delicious! And the desert was also good, albeit a bit too tricky to eat.
The service was okay. After every dish we were asked whether we want anything else, even though we did the 5-couse meal. The dessert took forever and when we were trying to get the attention of the waitress, she was having a smoke.
Overall an average experience which could be saved by a few small improvements.

For example, it has been given a contemporary modern design where you can enjoy yourself in a relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen, led by chef Tom Vermeulen, has also been given a metamorphosis. The menu changes four times a year and is all about surprise. Perfectly composed flavor explosions where every bite should be a surprise. In short, a wonderful place for a nice lunch or dinner.
