Heerlijk gegeten, verrassende gerechten in een relaxte sfeer
Het eten was lekker. We vonden het alleen wat lang duren voor de 1e en 2e gang geserveerd werden.
De sfeer is okay, maar niet bruisend te noemen.
Ook de service kon iets beter. Het brengen van de drankjes duurde ook langer dan wij gewend zijn.
Aardige mensen die je een fijne avond willen bezorgen, maar die het net niet aan lijken te kunnen.
Jammer, dat je het zo ervaren hebt, maar wel blij, dat je het eten in ieder geval lekker hebt gevonden. En dat vind ik persoonlijk in ieder geval het allerbelangrijkste en wil ik ook geen concessie in doen. Dat wij op deze megadrukke avonden met een volle zaak te weinig personeel hebben is helder, maar dat is nu eenmaal een probleem waar de horeca in Nederland mee kampt. In Buren is daar echter sprake van in de overtreffende trap, omdat er in dit prachtig historisch en toeristisch stadje 6 restaurantjes zitten, terwijl er maar 1800 inwoners zijn. Tel daarbij op, dat in deze omgeving een sterk vergrijzende bevolking woont en jongeren voor studie vaak uitreizen naar de bekende studiegemeentes, waardoor er voor ons wel heel erg "weinig vis in de vijver zit" om personeel uit te vissen. Laat staan geschoold personeel. Dus dat het dan, op zo'n megadrukke avond, inderdaad te lang duurt is zeker waar, maar alle gerechten worden nu eenmaal ambachtelijk en in eigen keuken bereid en zoals gezegd, daar wil ik geen enkele concessie in doen. Dan duurt het maar 5 minuten langer. Meestal gaat het desondanks goed, maar soms heb je van die avonden dat de wet van murphy toe slaat. Wij hadden overigens niet het idee, dat jullie het ongezellig vonden. Neemt niet weg dat wij je review zeker als team zullen evalueren om te kijken wat wij kunnen doen om dit voorkomen. Hopelijk desondanks toch tot een volgende keer. Wij zullen dan zeker voor een snelle service zorgen, nu wij weten dat jullie ook van snelheid houden.
Zeker een aanrader, al meerdere hier gegeten, maar toch weer positief verrast door de kok.
