Het eten was lekker,
Origineel en de presentatie was goed.
De kok kwam regelmatig langs om te horen naar onze beleving. Gaf uitleg van alle gerechten. En was vriendelijk en professioneel!
We hebben zonder meer genoten van ons zesgangen verrassingsdiner. De chef en zijn vrouw kwamen ons beurtelings lekkere gerechtjes brengen, met bijpassende wijnen en dito verhalen. De sfeer was gezellig en de omgang ongedwongen. Het enige punt van aandacht is de wel erg lange wachttijd tussen de gerechten. We zaten om 19:15 uur aan tafel en zijn om 00:00 uur de deur uit gegaan. Dat mag korter!
Dank je Ton. Dat het iets sneller zou mogen klopt, maar bij aanvang gaf ik al aan dat wij een avondvullend programma bieden, omdat ik nu eenmaal alleen in de keuken sta en alles vers in eigen keuken bereid wordt. Qua smaakbeleving een groot voordeel, zoals jullie dat zelf ook hebben ervaren en waarderen, maar bij een vol restaurant qua tijd met bijna allemaal 5- en 6-gangen menu's een nadeel. Het tekort aan personeel wil ik echter niet compenseren met de kwaliteit van mijn gerechten. Dat blijft immers de basis om onze gasten te verwennen met verrassende smaakcombinaties in mijn gerechten. Hopelijk toch tot een volgende keer. Op door de weekse dagen is het iets rustiger en zal de doorloopsnelheid iets hoger liggen, maar voor 6-gangen moet je nog steeds uitgaan van een avondvullend programma en sta je niet binnen 2,5 uur weer buiten.
