Het jubileummenu was voortreffelijk, ode aan de chef die alles perfect had klaargemaakt. De service prima en het goede wijnadvies maakte het avondje uit compleet!
Het was de eerste keer dat we deze bistro bezochten. Het is een echte bistro zoals je het verwacht. Het eten, de atmosfeer de bediening alles klopt. Je waant je een beetje in Parijs.
De zee op je bord. Nergens is de vis zo vers, zijn de oesters zo fris en is de kreeft zo mals als bij dit 'Franse' adres. De Bistro-mer bestaat inmiddels veertig jaar en dat wordt gevierd met een geweldig vier-gangen menu. Tot het hoogtepunt van de avond riepen we de tarbot uit, onberispelijk gebakken. Uitstekende wijnen, persoonlijke bediening.
