We had a lovely time at Cafe de Kroon. The chef's menu was very good value. The chef came to present the menu and quickly came up with an alternative for one dinner. The food looked very appealing and was very nice. We had a seat on the balcony, with a view onto Rembrandt plein but still sheltered. Highly recommend!

The service was pretty poor: during first 1,5 hours that we stayed there, we got served only first two dishes (main dish and dessert were served later). Staff kept taking away the utensils and not bringing new ones, once the dish was served, we had...

Staff kept taking away the utensils and not bringing new ones, once the dish was served, we had to wait long and go ask for new ones ourselves. We were told that there are other groups having celebrations same day but why should we wait so long if there is staff shortage? I was also celebrating my birthday same day
We (4 friends) had a great diner last Saturday. At arrival, the table was already beautifully set up with white linnen. The four courses were of good quality and quantity. It had been a while ago I was at the Kroon, and w happy to to have this experience. And special bonus for the great friendly service.
I would like to come back.

Een bijgerechtje van tomaten had voor wat smaakafwisseling kunnen zorgen. Dessert was oké. Al met al niet voor herhaling vatbaar, althans voor diner. Nog steeds prima locatie om wat te drinken.
